The checkout line can get rather lengthy during peak time, but it seems to move, and only took about 5 minutes.
The selection is large, current, well organized, and clearly labeled. The prices aren't out of line for the amount of merchandise carried. The floor sales people were courteous and helpful. The checker was "nice," but didn't listed for an answer when he asked if we wanted a bag. We said "no," but he bagged it anyway.
Good place to relax esp. in the comfy chairs. Great place to bring your laptop. Staff makes you feel like family.
Great atmosphere, selection, and organization. There is a quick reads section, new in paperback, new releases, teen, history, humor, and many many more categories. Also games, records, movies, magazines, CDs, and assorted gifts. And they serve Starbucks drinks and desserts!
The store is fine, but checkers are incredibly pushy with the store card. I was asked 3 times if I was sure I didn't want to sign up for it within my 2 minute transaction. and then repeatedly told why it would benefit me despite the fact that I was clear I didn't want it and THEN they asked for my email. This happens every single time I go. I understand the checkers are probably required to do this, but it's obnoxious and makes me want to just order my books off Amazon instead to avoid this. I would suggest a less aggressive approach to this.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Ordered the book I needed and included all the same discounts as if it were in the store but it'll be delivered to my house instead. Well done!
